Introductions and Learning Style Survey

Growing up in my generation, I've gotten to ride the wave of technology as its so quickly been developed like it second nature. While I wouldn't consider myself a technology wiz, I've always had it as a part of my life and definitely consider my self competent with most of the common interfaces put in front of me. I've taken a few technology classes and it's always been a big part of my school work and professional life.

I hope to learn skills for using technology as a tool to relate information to students in a way that is engaging and valuable. I work with middle school youth at my job, and they are glued to technology. Learning more tools to integrate technology into my work with them is something that I can't wait for.

The learning survey confirmed a lot of my own suspicions about my learning style. I've always found myself to think in the "big picture" and I often learn best when I can talk through a topic. This was reflected by my verbal and global scores being so high.
